 Jim Parker – Chairman
Jim serves as Executive Vice President of Iron Data, a global company specializing in transportation spend management for high volume shippers. He is responsible for all revenue and operational functions in the Americas division. Prior to joining Iron Data, Jim founded CMR Group in 1996 and managed its growth as the company became the premier 3rdparty logistics firm in the parcel shipping industry. In 2005, CMR Group joined the Iron Data family.
Jim graduated Cum Laude with a BBA degree in Banking and Finance from The Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia. He resides on St. Simons Island with his wife, Becky, and two sons, James (7th) and William (6th), both students at Saint Simons Christian School. |

 Wendy Chapman – Vice Chair
Wendy is a wife and mother of four children. Her husband, Whit, is the senior pastor of Frederica Baptist Church on St. Simons Island, and her eldest three children attend Saint Simons Christian School. Wendy received her bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and her Master’s Degree in Secondary Education from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. Before moving to St. Simons, Wendy taught middle school and high school math in the public school system in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, as well as the private Christian school setting at Trinity Academy of Raleigh in North Carolina. |
 Rick Van De Velde – Secretary
Rick is an optometrist, specializing in the treatment of eye disease. He is currently the Director of Clinics at SouthEastEye in Brunswick, a position he has held since 2001. Prior to relocating to Georgia, he was part of a multi-physician eye care practice in the metropolitan Detroit area. He is a 1985 graduate of the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University.
Rick and his wife Sharon live on Saint Simons Island. They have two daughters, Meredith, a 7th grade student at Saint Simons Christian School, and Jacqueline, a University of Georgia Bulldog.
 Jeff Martin – Treasurer
Jeff Martin has seventeen years of public accounting experience since receiving his Master of Taxation degree from Georgia State University. His company, M. Jeffrey Martin, CPA, LLC, was established in 2008 bringing with him experience in auditing and accounting, income tax preparation and planning business management, and estate and gift tax planning and preparation. He is currently treasurer of the Saint Simons Chapter of BNI. Jeff is past president of the Saint Simons Kiwanis Club and the Coastal Georgia Chapter of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is also past treasurer of Keep Brunswick-Golden Isles Beautiful and the Saint Simons Boating and Fishing Club. He is a graduate of the Leadership Glynn Class of 2004. Jeff is a member of Saint Simons Community Church, where he serves on the technical worship team in visual projection.
Jeff lives on St. Simons Island with his wife, Lynn, and their two daughters; Katie, a student at Saint Simons Christian School, and Lindsey, a Glynn Academy student. |
 Dan Redanz
After six years of youth ministry, Dan recently started up an internet web-design business here in Brunswick, GA in 2010. He founded LBGTogether.com, a new concept in web design. Dan lives in Brunswick with his wife Shirley and their five kids who are all St. Simons Christian School students. Kara (7th), Anna (5th), Lily (3rd), Ethan (1st), and Amber (PreK). |
 Mark Fritchman
Mark is the Family Pastor at St. Simons Community Church. He has been in fulltime ministry for almost 20 years. Mark resides on St Simons Island and is married to Amy, they have 3 children Asa (4th), Eli (3rd), and Zoey. |
